The idea of the “Wandering (Mom & Son) Tandem” blog came from one Facebook photo album of Byaheng Barok. Labeled in Filipino as “Barok & Mokong: Ang Lakwatserang Mag-ina,” the album is a compilation of travel photos ever since Barok (the Mom) brought Mokong (the Son) with her in almost all of her travels.

Barok decided to come up with a blog that highlights this tandem’s travels to share to other Moms (and Dads, too!) that having children is never a hindrance to travelling. Given the right amount of planning and preparation, children can make any explorations and new discoveries more special and memorable. Plus, parents would never have to feel guilty leaving children behind at home.
So, here they are, expanding their reach beyond their Facebook album, sharing the joys of travelling to both parents and kids out there. All these, in the hope that they can encourage you to travel. Really, there’s a great world out there to see.
See you on the road!

I dream of having a kid who speaks and writes English as great as your son. Kudos on being a wonderful Mom!
