In school, we are encouraged to join clubs that we like.
While I was in Grade 2, I joined the Cub Scout because I had no choice. All the clubs that I want were already filled. In Grade 3, I joined the Taekwondo Club because it was my favorite sport. But this year, I quit the taekwondo team. Now, in Grade 4, I joined the one and only PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB!!!! I like this club because I want to be like Mom and my Uncle. They also take pictures.
Every Thursday is our Club Day. I always bring my Mom’s camera to school every Thursday to take pictures for our Photography Club. We are only 9 in the club. My best friend in school, David, is also my club partner. I use my Mom’s Nikon D300s, while he uses Panasonic Lumix camera.
I always ask a lot of questions to my teacher in the Photography Club. He tells us to take pictures in school.
I take a lot of pictures of the students at the quadrangle. But some of my pictures are blurred.
My teacher said to post-process our pictures in www.pxlr.com. My Mom helps me post-process some of my pictures.
Here are some of the pictures I shot. What is your favorite? Tell me in the comments.

I am just learning how to do photography stuff so I am a novice! My wife knows more than I do and she is taking some great photos.
Being so young, learning about photography now will help you when you get older. However, I am sure the technology will continue to change and it’s already a lot to keep up with. The important thing is to have fun doing it!
Yup, I am having fun doing it! Thank you!
Discovered this blog just now. How cool that your son blogs about your travels. My 10-year-old does as well (only she blogs in Norwegian). Excellent action shots!

Your son has a good eye. And considering he’s still young, he’s got a lot of time to hone his skills.
I wish to have a son (or daughter) like yours one day.
thanks, cedric! i try not to over-encourage him in photography so i don’t give him the camera until he asks for it. so far, he’s really enjoying it… except for the part when he has to carry the camera for so long. hehe!
